Hello there! So you found my art blog! Thanks (in advance) for reading!

My name is Sarah Kruis, and I like painting and drawing. That’s the first thing – and by now likely the most obvious thing – that you need to know about me.

Second thing: I like being outdoors.

One of my goals is to combine my artsy side with my outdoorsy side.

The world has so many beautiful places in it… but not nearly enough moments spent appreciating them. People, like you and me, have experienced some amazing moments within some amazing places.

Think about your own memories right now. When was the first time you saw the Northern Lights? What about that gorgeous morning where you watched the sunrise burn the mist off the lake from your campsite?

Can these moments be captured simply with a photograph? Can these moments be captured in a painting or drawing?

That is another of my goals: to explore how to express and feel life’s adventures through painting and drawing.

I’ll be using my NEW WEBSITE (SKruisArtwork.ca) as my official sales gallery moving forward. Don’t worry if something says “not in stock”…. In today’s day and age, everything is in stock – it just means that the last print sold before I could make another one). I’ll keep my Instagram and Facebook accounts active as well for posting all the other bits ‘n’ bobs that I paint, draw, chat about, or want to give you sneak previews of!
