Beautiful watercolour painting of a peony - these little buggers are tricky to paint - with all their layers and layers of soft petals! This painting was painted using a Negative Painting technique for the foliage. - Essentially negative painting is to paint around the object without painting the object itself…… figure that one out!
Available as an 8.5x11 print and as a 10-pack of greeting cards (blank inside, envelopes included).

Beautiful watercolour painting of delphinium (larkspur) - these gorgeous blue beauties are tricky to paint - with their overlapping bell petals and gorgeous ombre colouring! This painting was painted using a masking technique for the background. - I protected the flowers from paint, so I could paint the background continuously.

Beautiful watercolour painting of shasta daisies - white flowers are tricky to paint - because it’s not like they are a true white! This painting was painted using layers and layers of washes to push the shadows into just the right places!
